I am glad it is only available here (UK) in the winter as for me it invokes holiday pleasures. You know when this hits the menu board, its the season to e jolly and a mug of this; which i feel has to be taken without milk, certainly helps the season along

We have had Christmas Blend for over a month here in the UK. Already gone through the bag I bought in October. Enjoying drinking Pike Place at the moment which I brought back from the USA. Strangely it is not sold in the UK.

Bummed to have the Chirstmas out yesterday, was looking forward to a cup Thanksgiving….the rare time I was in a store EARLY enough in the day and I just missed Thanksgiving! Christmas and Anniversary are 2 of my least favorites……too spicey, too much bite. (I do have Thanksgiving at home) On a totally different note: they did bring the ‘bearista’ bear back, so to speak. This one represents the recession bear, I guess. bare bones. (no down vest and scarf for this guy…..he doesn’t even have a partner!

Verona and Anniversary are the only other blends that are blended post-roasting.

Caffe Verona is also blended this way. It’s called a post roast. Verona is an 80/20 blend of Yukon Blend and Italian Roast for added depth and sweetness.

I’m not exactly sure what we have been doing since we took Yukon Blend off the shelves… But we recently brought it back as Organic Yukon Blend. I like it as a sturdy cup of coffee.

Interesting about the beans being roasted separately and then combined. What are the other blends that are roasted separately? Do they involve the same beans or are there others that also need to be done that way, too?
