(Reply to @CoffeeLovesArt) - I think this blog post of mine is one of the examples of Melody does crazy things. There is no way I will have a blog post put together by tomorrow. It might be next weekend. I got about 19 to 20 entries with an average of 2 to 3 images per entry. Oh no. That's like close to 60 images to resize, upload one by one. I seriously need an assistant. And it's going to be one busy blog post. I hope I'm mistaken at the number but I'm suddenly overwhelmed.

Hey Melody, I know the contest ends tomorrow, but just wondering if you will announce the winners tomorrow as well, or you probably need some time to decide? Thanks!

Darn! My two best-loved signs were for Thanksgiving Blend and Anniversary, so they're outside the date. Oh well! I still think this is an amazing idea.

I can't wait to see the other entries, and I'm sorry for not reading the earlier posts to see the answer to my question, oops.

Someone else above us asked almost the same question (which I should have thought of when I started this contest!). I told her that the artwork has to have been displayed within the past 90 days of this contest, and to be fair, I'm going to give you the same answer.

I'm not sure how I can totally enforce that. I mean if I get submissions that are chalkboard art of Gazebo Blend, I'm pretty sure I'll know that is not current. I might have to figure out this as I go along!

Melody, do the entries need to be current? I have some pictures of board art I've done in the past that I liked, but the current board is quite boring.

(Reply to CoffeeLovesArt) - Hi there! That's a great question! I didn't think of that at all. Considering how fast that the art changes (every promo season) I don't think it necessarily has to be currently on display. If you can satisfy all the conditions listed above (name the store, a photograph bigger than 200 x 200, etc...) I think it would be fair to allow any art work within the past 90 days. I don't want it to be too old, so I think it has to be a tight range. Any art work within the past 90 days.

I need to still make that clear above too.

This is a great idea! There are so many starving artists that work at starbucks. So, I'm going to hit my favorite stores and see what I can find!
